I am a Jacksonville State University student majoring in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations. During my classes at Jacksonville, I have gained many skills, such as multimedia design, video production, and editing.

Outside of Jacksonville State University, I participated in the Gadsden State Women's Basketball program, where I learned patience, time management, and leadership skills. Patience because I tore my ACL and was waiting for my time to heal so I could play again fully. Although I got cleared after the season, I am still extremely grateful to participate in the program. Though not everything would go as planned, I have to push through. Also, during my time at Gadsden State, I learned time management. Even though I was enrolled as a full-time student at Gadsden State, I was still taking courses at Jacksonville State University. So, I had to manage my time being apart from both schools. My leadership skills came from basketball. I have learned on and off the court that every team needs a leader. Someone to push others to be the best they can be.

I want to say that my time at Gadsden State made me the person I am today. It helped build my communication and leadership skills. I enjoy the opportunities to experience new things, which will help me become a well-rounded person and businessperson in the future.
